Dr. Wally Wallace
Saxophonist Wally Wallace has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States, France, and Switzerland. He served as principal saxophonist of the US Army Military Intelligence Corps Band, presenting clinics and masterclasses across the southwestern United States.
A passionate educator, Dr. Wallace has taught instrumental music at the elementary through collegiate level, recently serving as instructor of saxophone at Methodist University and Virginia Tech. His students have routinely earned top marks in state and national competitions, and have been featured on NPR’s From the Top. He currently resides in Greensboro, North Carolina with his wife and two precocious children, Finn and Violet.
